Death Toll From Afghanistan’s Suicide Blast Rises To 35

KABUL, Oct 2 (NNN-ANA) – The death toll from Friday’s suicide bomb explosion, at an educational centre in Kabul, has risen to 35, while 82 others were wounded, the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) said, yesterday.

UN figures showed at least 35 people were killed and 82 other were hurt, with Majority of the casualties being girls and young women, UNAMA said, in its statement.

A suicide explosion rocked an education centre in a neighbourhood of western Kabul on Friday morning, where a large number of students were preparing for an exam.

No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.– NNN-ANA
