Indonesian Police Said At Least 129 People Killed In Violence At Football Match

JAKARTA, Oct 2 (NNN-ANTARA) – At least 129 people were killed, in a violent incident, after a football match, in Indonesia’s Malang, in East Java province, last night, Indonesian police said today.

Provincial police chief, Nico Afinta, said at a press conference that, the supporters of one team did not accept the defeat at a game, and climbed over the fence and enter the soccer field in a large number, resulting in a stampede and clashes with the police, with 127 supporters and two police officers killed.– NNN-ANTARA
