Peru: Foreign Affairs Ministry reaffirms commitment to work in favor of tourism reactivation

LIMA, Sept 28 (NNN-ANDINA) — On the occasion of World Tourism Day, Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its commitment for the benefit of the reactivation of the tourism activity and economic development.

Via Twitter, the government agency said that it will continue working in an articulated manner with stakeholders in the tourism sector.

Likewise, it stated that the international projection of Peru as a cultural, gastronomic, and safe tourist destination for visitors will continue being consolidated through the network of missions of the Foreign Affairs Ministry abroad.

For its part, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) sent greetings on World Tourism Day, highlighting that it is one of the sectors which contributes the most to world economy.

“Let’s show the world our culture, history, and biodiversity because there is no destination more beautiful than our country,” Mincetur expressed via its official Twitter account.
