LIMA, Sept 26 (NNN-ANDINA) — President Pedro Castillo urged the population not to succumb to misinformation, whose only purpose is to cause political noise and uncertainty, noting that he will continue working for the well-being of all Peruvians.

Via social media, he denied the version described by a website, which states that his nephew Fray Vasquez traveled to Chiclayo aboard the presidential aircraft.

“Let us not succumb to this type of misinformation, whose only purpose is to cause uncertainty, chaos, and political noise,” he remarked.

“My commitment is to all Peruvians. We will not be vanquished and will continue working for the development of Peruvians,” the Head of State said.

In this regard, the President emphasized that the desperation to get power and delegitimize the Government has no limits now.

“The political caste and the opposition have fabricated a lie —together with the sensationalist media that has a servile attitude towards mafias— claiming that Fray Vasquez traveled to Chiclayo on June 23 aboard the presidential aircraft,” Castillo pointed out.

“I flatly deny that Mr. Vasquez has traveled aboard the presidential aircraft. They want to affect governance and democracy with this hoax,” he underlined.

Moreover, the top official emphasized that he is respectful of the rule of law and justice. “The document has been manipulated to create a situation that has never existed,” he concluded. — NNN-ANDINA
