NEW DELHI, Sept 7 (NNN-PTI) – India and Bangladesh, yesterday signed seven agreements on various fields, including water resources, railways, space technology, judiciary, scientific and technological cooperation, and TV broadcasting.
The agreements were inked in New Delhi, in the presence of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and his visiting Bangladeshi counterpart, Sheikh Hasina, who is on a four-day state visit.
The two PMs also jointly inaugurated various projects, including a power plant, a railway bridge and several railway line projects.
Indian Foreign Secretary, Vinay Kwatra, told reporters that, Modi and Hasina discussed on bilateral issues related to water, trade, economic ties, and regional and global issues.– NNN-PTI
