MANILA, Aug 28 (NNN-PNA) – A trailer truck collided with a motorbike and a tricycle, on a highway in northern Philippines, yesterday afternoon, killing five, including a sixth-month-old baby boy, and injuring two others, police said.
Police said, the crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. local time, in Tumauini town, in Isabela province, when the truck, heading north, crossed the opposite lane on the highway and collided with the motorbike and tricycle.
Police said five people were killed at the scene. The truck driver survived the crash and was now in police custody.
An investigation was underway to determine the cause of the accident.– NNN-PNA
