FAIZABAD, Afghanistan, Aug 20 (NNN-ANA) – Security forces killed three militants in northern Afghanistan’s Badakhshan province, provincial head of Information and Culture department, Qari Maazudin Ahmadi said, yesterday.
Six armed men, in Shiwa area of Raghistan district, were identified and attacked by security forces on Thursday night, and resultantly three had been killed, another injured and the remaining two escaped, the official said.
No personnel of the security forces had been hurt during the crackdown, the official said.
The Taliban-run administration vowed to crackdown on anyone illegally keeping weapon and collect arms from irresponsible armed men from across the country.– NNN-ANA
