Pakistani Central Bank Unveiled 75-Rupee Commemorative Banknote

ISLAMABAD, Aug 15 (NNN-APP) – The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), yesterday unveiled a 75- rupee commemorative banknote, to mark the 75 years of Pakistan’s independence.

The banknote was launched on the anniversary day of Pakistan, in a ceremony held at the SBP Museum, in the country’s southern port city of Karachi, the SBP said, in a statement.

The 75-rupee commemorative banknote is the second such banknote issued by the SBP, the statement said.

The SBP issued the first commemorative banknote in 1997, to mark 50 years of the country’s independence, it added.– NNN-APP
