KABUL, Aug 6 (NNN-ANA) – Eight people have been confirmed dead and 18 others injured, in a bomb blast, which rocked the western edge of Afghanistan’s capital city of Kabul yesterday, Kabul police spokesman, Khalid Zadran, said on social media.
The blast took place in the Sar-e-Kariz area of Police District 6, Zadran said.
According to the official, the explosive device was placed in a handcart and targeted passers-by.
A couple of days ago, several militants of the Daesh group were killed, in a security forces operation in Kabul.– NNN-ANA
