RAMALLAH, Aug 2 (NNN-WAFA) – A Palestinian young man was killed yesterday, by Israeli soldiers, during clashes in the northern West Bank city of Jenin, the Palestinian health ministry said.
Derar Kafrini, 18, was killed, after he was shot with live bullets, by Israeli soldiers, during clashes that broke out in the city, without giving more details, said a ministry press statement.
Meanwhile, eyewitnesses said, an Israeli army force stormed the Palestinian refugee camp in the city, as part of its regular military activity to arrest Palestinians wanted by Israel.
Palestinian militants and Israeli soldiers traded fire in the refugee camp, according to eyewitnesses, adding, the 18-year-old young man was killed in the clashes.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad said in a statement that, its militants clashed with Israeli soldiers in Jenin, after an Israeli army force stormed the refugee camp in the city.
There has been no immediate comment from the Israeli regime on the death of Kafrini, and the storming of the refugee camp in Jenin.– NNN-WAFA
