2 died after An-2 plane crashes in south Russia

MOSCOW, July 16 (NNN-Xinhua) — A pilot and a passenger died after an An-2 plane crashed Friday night in south Russia’s Krasnodar region, TASS reported.

The plane caught a power line pole when landing at a field airfield, said the report, citing local emergency agency.

Fire and rescue team was sent to the crash site, it said, adding that rescuers found no fire or destruction on the site. — NNN-XINHUA
