KUALA LUMPUR, July 13 (Bernama) —The first cohort of Program Duta Guru (PDG) comprising 116 participants from across Malaysia, have recently begun their journey as teacher role models, after completing their two-year training.
PDG is Yayasan PETRONAS’ signature programme in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, through Pusat STEM Negara. The programme, which started in 2019, aims to upskill 4,500 teachers nationwide in higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) to serve as role models in the delivery of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects to students.
