Brunei Reported 1,185 New COVID-19 Cases

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Jun 28 (NNN-ANN) – Brunei recorded 1,185 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, its health ministry said, in its weekly briefing on COVID-19 updates.

Among the new infections, 1,173 cases were detected through antigen rapid tests (ARTs), with the results reported online to the government, and 12 were results of 267 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) laboratory tests, performed in the past 24 hours.

As of Jun 25, 72.8 percent of Brunei’s population have received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccines.

The COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, and China’s Sinopharm are those administered in the country.– NNN-ANN
