YANGON, Jun 14 (NNN-MNA) – Myanmar’s Anti-Narcotics Task Force, seized over 1.6 billion kyats (about 864,864 U.S. dollars) worth of heroin and stimulant pills, in Mandalay region, a police statement said yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, the anti-narcotics agents seized 40.7 kg heroin and 400,000 stimulant tablets from a vehicle in Myitnge town of Mandalay region, on Jun 11, it said.
Police also arrested two suspects in the operation.
