BEIRUT, Jun 3 (NNN-NNA) – Egypt will continue to support Lebanon, and stand with the Lebanese people, as the country faces a difficult situation, visiting Egyptian Minister of Social Solidarity, Nivine El Kabbag, said yesterday.
El Kabbag made the remarks upon her arrival in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, where she is scheduled to attend a meeting for the Council of Arab Ministers for Social Affairs.
While highlighting the joint cooperation and coordination between Egypt and Lebanon, El Kabbag said, her visit also aims to voice her country’s support for Lebanon.
Egypt has offered several donations to Lebanon over the past two years, including medical equipment, medicine and food.– NNN-NNA
