Feasibility Study Sought For New Int’l Port Terminal In Myanmar

YANGON, May 29 (NNN-MNA) – Myanmar’s Ministry of Transport and Communications is inviting tenders, to carry out a feasibility study, for the new international port terminal, near Mawlamyine, in the southern Mon State.

According to a statement by the ministry’s Myanmar Port Authority, on Thursday, the study will commence between Talauk Nyaung Wine Village and Wekali Village of Mudon Town, in Mawlamyine.

The tender form is available as of June 9 for those interested.

The project is aimed at enhancing the urban development capabilities, to develop Mawlamyine in Mon State.– NNN-MNA
