Urgent: DPRK Fires Ballistic Missile

SEOUL, May 25 (NNN-YONHAP) – The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), fired an unspecified ballistic missile eastward, today, Pyongyang Time, South Korea’s news agency reported, quoting military sources.

The news was announced by the Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea. Details were not immediately available.

Earlier this month, the DPRK launched what was thought to be an ICBM, and then an apparent submarine-launched ballistic missile – in a move seen as an effort to diversify nuclear delivery vehicles, according to the report.– NNN-YONHAP
