Water Supply Project Launched In W. Afghanistan

HERAT, Afghanistan, Apr 4 (NNN-ANA) – A water supply project has been launched in Afghanistan’s western Herat province, the local media outlet, Salam Watandar, reported today.

Work for the project started yesterday, with a cost of 91 million afghani (1.03 million U.S. dollars). The project is planned to benefit 2,500 households by providing potable water to their houses.

According to the news report, the Herat municipality is expected to launch more public projects this year.– NNN-ANA
