ISLAMABAD, Mar 29 (NNN-APP) – Four terrorists were killed, during an operation by security forces, in Pakistan’s north-western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, an army statement said yesterday.
The army’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation, on reported presence of terrorists in North Waziristan tribal district of the province.
During an exchange of fire, four terrorists got killed, the ISPR statement said.
One of the terrorists has been identified, while identification of the remaining terrorists is in progress, the statement said.
Security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition from the dead terrorists.– NNN-APP
