KABUL, Mar 27 (NNN-ANA) – An Afghan air force pilot, who went abroad with his family, has returned home, the Afghan caretaker government said today.
“One of the pilots of the National Air Force, who had taken refuge in Germany with his family after the fall of the previous administration, returned to Afghanistan,” the government said, in a statement.
Many Afghan security forces and civil servants left Afghanistan, following the Taliban’s takeover in mid-Aug, last year.
In recent months, Abdul Salam Rahimi, state minister for peace of the former Afghan government, several pilots of the Afghan air force and a female mayor, have returned to the country.– NNN-ANA
