NAY PYI TAW, Myanmar, March 28 (NNN-MNA) – A military parade to mark the 74th Armed Forces Day was held in Myanmar’s capital Nay Pyi Taw, on Wednesday.
At the parade, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Vice-Senior Gen. Soe Win, stressed that, three capabilities, military capability, administrative capability and organisational capability, are needed to make the military more efficient.
He also called for continued efforts in protecting national policy, promoting peace and stability of the country, solidarity and socioeconomic development, carrying out eternal peace, essential to build the union, based on the democratic and federal system, as well as, in building high capable military that protects territorial integrity of the state and safeguard the sovereignty.
A total of 11,438 soldiers paraded on the grounds, while jet fighters and helicopters of the air force, conducted a fly-past at the military parade.– NNN-MNA
