YANGON, Mar 4 (NNN-MNA) – Myanmar reported 1,819 new COVID-19 infections, with a daily positivity rate of 8.43 percent yesterday, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health.
The new infections brought the total tally to 593,958, including 541,648 recoveries from the pandemic in the country.
The death toll from the pandemic has risen to 19,379, with four more deaths reported in the past 24 hours, the ministry said.
Myanmar has so far tested over 7.18 million samples for COVID-19.– NNN-MNA
