Pakistan’s Anti-Narcotics Force Seizes 62 Kg Drugs In Operations

ISLAMABAD, Feb 28 (NNN-APP) – The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) of Pakistan, yesterday seized 62.8 kg drugs in two separate operations in different areas of the country, according to an ANF spokesperson.

The spokesperson said, a team of ANF members conducted an operation, at the cargo section of the Islamabad International Airport, and seized 2.8 kg of heroin, hidden in goods booked to be delivered to a client in Britain.

The spokesperson said, an operation was also launched to arrest the culprits who booked the consignment.

In the other operation, conducted in the Pishin district of the south-western province of Balochistan, ANF personnel found 60 kg of hashish, hidden in secret sections of a car.

The ANF personnel arrested two persons who were trying to smuggle the drugs to the eastern Punjab province.– NNN-APP
