YANGON, Feb 20 (NNN-MNA) – Myanmar confirmed 3,050 new COVID-19 cases with a daily positivity rate of 10.03 percent yesterday, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health.
The ministry reported that, the total number of COVID-19 infections has increased to 562,364.
Another five deaths from COVID-19 were reported in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 19,327 in the country, the statement said.
According to official data, the number of recovered patients has reached 522,400, with 791 new recoveries.
More than 6.87 million samples have been tested for COVID-19, so far in the country, including 30,406 samples yesterday, the ministry’s figures showed.– NNN-MNA
