100 Million People Vaccinated Against COVID-19 In Bangladesh

DHAKA, Feb 17 (NNN-BSS) – Bangladesh has vaccinated more than 100 million people, with the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccines.

More than half of the vaccines administered were China’s Sinopharm.

According to the Management Information System of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), “as many as 101,190,890 people received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccines (including 52,084,442 Chinese vaccine doses) in the country, as of Feb 15.”

Also, nearly 73 million people have been vaccinated with two shots, with 46,959,203 receiving Sinopharm as of Tuesday, and nearly three million got a booster shot, as booster jabs only available for those above 40.
