ISLAMABAD, Feb 17 (NNN-APP) – Six terrorists were killed during an exchange of fire with security forces, in Pakistan’s south-western Balochistan province, the military said yesterday.
The security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation, near the Buleda area of the province, the army’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said, in a statement.
“Once the troops started clearance operation in the area, terrorists tried to escape from their camp and opened fire onto security forces,” said the statement.
Weapon and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorists during the operation, the statement added.
According to the ISPR, the terrorists were involved in recent attacks on security forces in the province.– NNN-APP
