TASHKENT, Feb 12 (NNN-XINHUA) – A gas explosion in a private medical clinic, in the eastern Andijan region of Uzbekistan, killed one person and injured four others, the Uzbek Emergency Situations Ministry said yesterday.
Earlier in the day, based on preliminary reports, the ministry said that, seven people were injured.
The gas explosion occurred on the first floor of the three-story private medical centre, “one person died at the scene and four others were taken to the district hospital with various injuries,” it said.
Authorities have launched a preliminary investigation into the incident.– NNN-XINHUA
