700 Trained Security Personnel Commissioned To Afghan Forces

KABUL, Feb 11 (NNN-ANA) – About 700 security personnel have been recently commissioned to security forces, under Afghanistan’s Taliban-led caretaker government, after receiving military training, according to related authorities, yesterday.

In the southern Helmand province, 600 soldiers, on Wednesday, graduated from a training centre of the al-Azm Military Corps, after completing basic military and ideological training, the defence ministry said in a statement, adding that, the Taliban administration will continue to provide necessary training to its security personnel across the country.

Earlier yesterday, 100 intelligence officers received their certificates, during a ceremony in the southern Kandahar province, the provincial intelligence directorate said.

After the Taliban’s takeover of power in Aug, last year, and formation of a caretaker government in Sept, Afghanistan’s security and defence forces, under the former administration, were disbanded.– NNN-ANA
