ULAN BATOR, Feb 10 (NNN-XINHUA) – Mongolia will resume in-person classes for all levels of educational institutions starting from Feb 14, the government’s press office said in a statement, yesterday.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, general educational schools in areas classified as high-risk, especially in the capital, Ulan Bator, had rotated classroom training and TV or online classes on a weekly basis.
One in four students of general educational schools in the country have suffered from isolation, scholastic backwardness and anxiety, due to the pandemic over the past two years, according to the country’s Ministry of Education and Science.
Therefore, the ministry is paying special attention to the elimination of scholastic backwardness, and the employment of psychologists in all public schools across the country.– NNN-XINHUA
