ISLAMABAD, Feb 1 (NNN-APP) – A terrorist was killed, during an intense exchange of fire with security forces, in Pakistan’s north-western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said, yesterday.
The security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Dossali area of North Waziristan district of the province, the army’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said, in a statement.
The operation was carried out upon reported presence of terrorists in the area, the ISPR statement said.
Weapon and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorist during the operation, the statement added.
According to the ISPR, the terrorist was involved in terrorist activities against security forces, targeted killing and kidnapping for ransom.– NNN-APP
