NEW DELHI, Jan 31 (NNN-PTI) – At least six people died, when a bus ran over them, in India’s northern state of Uttar Pradesh, early today, confirmed a local cop over the phone.
The mishap occurred in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur area, when the driver of the speeding bus lost control and ran over some people standing by the roadside.
After hitting the bystanders, the bus ran through a traffic booth and came to a halt after hitting a truck, said a media report.
Three cars and many bikes were damaged in the mishap.– NNN-PTI
