HELSINKI, Jan 28 (NNN-AGENCIES) – The Finnish forest industry conglomerate, United Paper Mills (UPM), improved its 2021 Q4 profit by over 80 percent, to 461 million euros (513.76 million U.S. dollars).
Throughout last year, its profit increased by 55 percent to 1,471 million euros, UPM said, in a press release, yesterday.
UPM’s earnings returned to strong pre-pandemic levels, noted UPM’s CEO, Jussi Pesonen, in the release.
The company also announced that it continues to design its new biorefinery in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. (1 euro = 1.11 U.S. dollars)– NNN-AGENCIES
