JERUSALEM, Jan 23 (NNN-PNA) – Israel’s Ministry of Health, yesterday reported, 54,135 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections in the regime to 2,212,596.
The death toll from the virus rose to 8,393, with 22 new fatalities added, while the number of patients in serious condition rose from 638 to 732, the highest figure since Sept, 2021.
The number of active cases reached a new record of 442,229, while the positive rate of all daily COVID-19 tests in Israel hit a record of 20.61 percent.– NNN-PNA
