HANOI, Dec 30 (NNN-VNA) – Vietnam reported an estimated trade value of 668.5 billion U.S. dollars in 2021, up 22.6 percent year on year, with a trade surplus of four billion dollars, the General Statistics Office announced, yesterday.
The export stood at 336.25 billion dollars, up 19 percent year on year, while the import totaled 332.25 billion dollars, surging 26.5 percent.
The United States remained Vietnam’s biggest importer, with turnovers of 95.6 billion dollars, followed by China with 55.9 billion dollars and the European Union with 39.9 billion dollars, said the office.
China is Vietnam’s largest exporter, with 109.9 billion dollars of turnovers, followed by South Korea and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, according to the office.– NNN-VNA
