NEW YORK, Dec 17 (NNN-AGENCIES) – An earthquake, with a magnitude of 6.1, jolted South Sandwich Islands region, at 21:14:45 GMT yesterday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), said.
The epicentre, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 60.2284 degrees south latitude, and 23.8527 degrees west longitude.– NNN-AGENCIES
