AT&S SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) WITH NUR POWER FOR THE SUPPLY OF RENEWABLE ENERGY FOR ITS MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN KULIM HI-TECHNOLOGY PARK
KEDAH, Malaysia, Dec 16 (Bernama) — AT&S has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NUR Power, the dedicated Independent Power Utility for Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP), to procure supply of renewable energy (RE) for its upcoming Malaysian plant in KHTP, Kedah, Malaysia. AT&S has in June, 2021 announced its investment of RM8.5 billion to set up its new high-end IC Substrates manufacturing facility in KHTP. Construction of the facility is currently ongoing and is expected to be operational by 2024.
