NEW DELHI, Dec 7 (NNN-PTI) – Visiting Russian President, Vladimir Putin, and Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, held the 21st annual summit between the two countries in New Delhi, yesterday.
This was the first in-person meeting between the duo, since their meeting on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Brasilia, Brazil, in Nov, 2019.
After the summit-level talks, both sides signed agreements on fields, including science and technology, higher education, intellectual property, military-technical cooperation, merchant shipping, cultural exchange, use of outer space for peaceful purposes, power, steel, sports and education.
Prior to the annual summit, the two countries held the first 2+2 dialogue, where the foreign and defence ministers of both sides, held discussions on issues of mutual interests.– NNN-PTI
