BAKU, Dec 1 (NNN-ASNA) – A military helicopter belonging to Azerbaijan’s border service, crashed yesterday morning during a training exercise, claiming 14 lives onboard and injuring two others, authorities said.
The helicopter came down in the north-eastern Azerbaijani district of Khizi, at about 10:40 a.m. local time (0640 GMT), the border service and Office of the Prosecutor General said, in a joint statement.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.– NNN-ASNA
