DHAKA, Nov 30 (NNN-BSS) – A month-long sculpture exhibition kicked off in Bangladesh’s capital, Dhaka, with a total of 114 selected sculptures by 107 sculptors being exhibited.
Bangladeshi State Minister for Cultural Affairs, KM Khalid, inaugurated the “5th National Sculpture Exhibition 2021” at the National Art Gallery of Bangladesh, Shilpakala Academy (the national academy of fine and performing arts) last night.
Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy’s Director General, Liaquat Ali Lucky, earlier said, they organised the exhibition, to encourage the practice of sculpture-making and its development.
The exhibition will last till Dec 28.– NNN-BSS
