Iran’s Daily COVID-19 Deaths Drop Under 100 After 234 Days

TEHRAN, Nov 23 (NNN-IRNA) – The Iranian Health Ministry reported yesterday, 97 new COVID-19 deaths, marking a two-digit number of daily deaths for the first time since Mar.

According to the ministry’s latest daily briefing, 5,427 new cases were registered in the past 24 hours, taking the country’s total infections to 6,082,865.

The pandemic has claimed 129,053 lives in the country, while a total of 5,795,060 people have recovered from the disease or been discharged from hospitals across Iran.

By yesterday, 56,830,741 Iranians have received their first doses of COVID-19 vaccines, and 45,115,003 of them have taken two doses. Meanwhile, 803,290 people in the country have received their booster jabs.– NNN-IRNA
