YANGON, Nov 6 (NNN-MNA) – The number of COVID-19 infections has risen to 505,038 in Myanmar, after 1,057 new confirmed cases were reported in the past 24 hours, according to a release from the Ministry of Health yesterday.
With 17 new deaths recorded, the death toll has risen to 18,783 yesterday, the ministry said.
A total of 475,450 recovered patients have been discharged from hospitals and over 4.98 million samples have been tested for COVID-19 so far, in the country.
Myanmar detected its first two COVID-19 positive cases on Mar 23, last year.– NNN-MNA
