Renovation Of Road Linking Western Afghanistan With Iran To Enhance Transborder Trade

FARAH, Afghanistan, Nov 4 (NNN-ANA) – Construction work was inaugurated for the renovation of a 60 km-long road, in Afghanistan’s western Farah province yesterday, deputy to the provincial governor, Mawlawi Abdul Samad, said today.

The road linking Farah’s provincial capital, Farah, with the dry port of Sheik Abu Nasr Farahi, along the border with Iran, would be completed within 18 months, the official added.

Trade and business will be enhanced between Afghanistan and neighbouring Iran, with the reconstruction of the essential road, the official added.– NNN-ANA
