DAMASCUS, Oct 21 (NNN-SANA) – Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad, yesterday, made a phone call with Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the crown prince of Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Assad and al-Nahyan discussed bilateral relations and ways to boost mutual interests of both peoples.
Discussions also tackled the latest developments on regional and international arena, the report said.
This phone call came, as relations between the UAE and Syria has dramatically improved recently, particularly after the UAE reopened its embassy in Syria in 2018.
The UAE has also facilitated the visa procedures for Syrians, who want to visit Dubai or Abu Dhabi.– NNN-SANA
