AMMAN, Oct 12 (NNN-PETRA) – Jordan’s Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, yesterday, received a phone call from his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, during which they discussed measures for bolstering bilateral relations.
The two ministers also exchanged views on solving regional crises and beefing up efforts to strengthen ties, so as to preserve security and stability in the region, according to a statement released by the Jordanian Foreign Ministry.
Safadi emphasised that, Jordan always seeks dialogue and desires healthy regional relations, based on the principle of good neighbourliness and non-interference in others’ internal affairs, the statement said.
The two ministers stressed keenness to develop relations and to continue frankly communicating on all issues.– NNN-PETRA
