IGEM 2021 Registers 13,000 International Visitors

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 5 (Bernama) — With climate agenda re-emerging from the shadows of the pandemic over the last couple of weeks, the 12th International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (IGEM 2021), continues to steer the green economy with renewed focus on climate change and green technology with more than 13,000 registered global visitors, over 80 conferences as well as several business leads, Memorandum of Understandings and Memorandum of Cooperation worth RM1.97 billion in potential investment value signed to date.

Organised by the Ministry of Environment and Water (KASA) and co-organised by the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Centre (MGTC), IGEM 2021, the region’s largest trade event for green technologies and eco-solutions which is currently at its halfway mark, anticipates this momentum to gain traction, with added impetus following the recent unveiling of the 12th Malaysia Plan that emphasized the advancement of green growth as one of its key focus areas.
