ULAN BATOR, Oct 4 (NNN-XINHUA) – Mongolia today launched a national campaign to encourage its citizens to save more money and instill a culture of saving across the country, according to the central bank.
The campaign is being organised on the occasion of the World Savings Day, which is celebrated every year on Oct 31, across the world, the Bank of Mongolia, said in a statement.
During the month-long campaign, under the motto “Let’s all save,” the central bank and other relevant organisations are expected to hold numerous activities, such as children’s painting competition, online contests, training sessions and meetings, to cultivate the habit of saving money and promote financial literacy.
Mongolia started marking the World Savings Day across the country since 2017.– NNN-XINHUA
