ISLAMABAD, Sept 26 (NNN-APP) – Four security personnel were killed and two others injured, in a blast in Pakistan’s south-west Balochistan province yesterday, police in the area, said.
The incident took place, when roadside-planted explosives hit a vehicle of the paramilitary troops Frontier Corps, in Harnai district of the province, police said.
The forces’ vehicle was on a routine patrol in the area, when the explosion happened, said the police sources.
Following the explosion, rescue teams, police and security forces, rushed to the site and shifted the bodies and the injured to a nearby hospital.
Police and security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to arrest the culprits.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blast yet.– NNN-APP
