Helicopter makes hard landing in Russia’s Kamchatka

MOSCOW, Sept 24 (NNN-Xinhua) — A Ka-27 helicopter made a hard landing near Ostraya Mountain in Russia’s Kamchatka Territory, TASS news agency reported Thursday, citing a source in the aviation services.

“We received a report on Ka-27 helicopter’s hard landing near Ostraya Mountain in Kamchatka. Three people were on board,” the source said.

“It is preliminarily known that the helicopter belongs to Russia’s Federal Security Service,” the source added.

The helicopter was performing a training flight. Searches have begun, according to TASS. — NNN-XINHUA
