KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 21 (Bernama) — Taiyo Yuden Co. Ltd., listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, announced today that one of its subsidiaries, Taiyo Yuden (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, is expanding its multilayer ceramic capacitors manufacturing facility in Kuching as a strategic move to increase its production capacity in the ASEAN region. This marks another milestone for Malaysia as the preferred hub for global manufacturers and an ASEAN gateway.
The expansion of Taiyo Yuden’s facility in Sarawak was discussed during the Trade and Investment Mission (TIM) to Tokyo in April 2021 led by YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, Senior Minister and Minister of International Trade and Industry.
