KABUL, Afghanistan, March 16 (NNN-AGENCIES) – A car bomb exploded prematurely in Koti Sangi district of western Kabul, killing the driver and injuring two passers-by, early today (Saturday), local police said.
The car was carrying a magnetic bomb, when it exploded prematurely, Basir Mujahid, the spokesman of Kabul police department, said.
Investigators are already at the site investigating the blast, Mujahid added.
He also said that the vehicle is a private car, not a military vehicle.
More details will be published after the investigation, Mujahid said.
No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility for the explosion.
